Arabic at the Kenyon Institute

We provide courses in colloquial Arabic. Classes are taught in an informal, relaxed manner which is particularly well suited to adult learners. The class is interactive and class members are expected to participate in group exercises. Classes are 8-12 students and a limited amount of homework is expected and encouraged. The class is taught in a mixture of English and Arabic, and some other languages (the great gift of the teacher is his command of other European languages, and this allows him to translate effectively to a variety of students).

A testimonial from a recent student: "I have been told by my Palestinian colleagues that I speak Arabic with a beautiful Jerusalem accent!" Vanessa Farr, UNDP.

A standard course is comprised of 32 teaching hours over eight weeks at a cost of 1500NIS per student plus teaching materials.
